The Seeds of Hope garden was originally established as part of an outreach program to use empty land surrounding the church. It is now a garden that boasts 12 individual garden plots and a larger 100 ft. x 50 ft. community gardening space. The garden has become a place where church and community members have come together to grow healthy food and connect with each other. The garden grows tomatoes, squash, corn, cucumbers, peppers, lettuce all from transplants grown by members of the church and donated to families interested in working in the garden. All produce grown in the large community garden is donated to Carriage Town Ministries. This year in addition to the garden, a church member added beehives to the garden space. The honey produced by the bees will be used as a fundraiser for the church.
The future plans for the garden include adding a grape arbor.
