Established in 2016 Em Flower's mission is to empower women through gardening, life skills, and entrepreneurship skills. The garden is closely associated with the slow flowers movement, which encourages the growth and sale of flowers grown in America. The manager, Meghan Hoffman, is very passionate about the movement and participates in it as an American flower grower and seller. Most of the flowers are used largely for wedding arrangements. This year EmFlower hosted a Solstice Dinner, started a cut your own flower bouquet subscription service and planted a pumpkin patch. The garden also boasts a large quantity of ever-bearing strawberries and grows a vegetable garden for the neighbors living around the farm.
